Webpro news posted a great article discussing Walmart’s latest Facebook campaign called ‘CrowdSaver’.
Basically, it lets fans of their facebook page vote for potential deals that Walmart suggests as possible. Once enough people vote for a deal, it becomes reality.
Genius! They create, buzz, brand loyalty and use the popular deal as a sort of loss leader, getting people into their store where they might as well stock up on everything else they need.
